Alaska, Here We Come!!!! Part 5 (Kids & Football)

We had a great time with Tony, Julie and the kids!

Tony and Julie had to work while we were there, so we played with our grandkids all day for a few days.

Playing with LEGOs...

Claire looks so grown up.
Jumped on the trampoline....

Ojichan (Scott) had a blast on the trampoline.
Of course, Obachan (Nobuko) tried, too, but she
got  tired so fast, so she decided she'd rather
take pictures, instead.

And, of course, the static electricity on Claire's hair!

Went to the park and played...

Tucker enjoyed putting gravels over his head the whole time we were at the play ground!

Went to football practices...

Tony, Jordan, Scott and I went golfing on Saturday morning (Julie's company's annual golf tournament)

Beautiful day to play golf. 70 degrees.

I  guess I hit 200 yards and won "Women's Longest Drive" prize, which was a very nice putter. (I wanted to bring it home, but there was no way I could, so I left it with Tony. I hope Julie can use it.
I hit 260 yards unintetionally about six years ago. I'd better get serious about golfing and learn more about golfing. :)

There were so many wonderful prizes. We couldn't believe how nice some of those prizes were.
Guess what Jordan won.

Yes, he won an iPad! I am not kidding. All the adults in the room went "What?!?! A 10 year of kid won an iPad?"  Big sigh from everyone... Yes, everyone was so jealous.

We had one other big surprise while playing golf!   We had just teed of on hole #13 when a big moose and her kid saundered across the fairway just in front of us.  Wow!  That's certainly something you don't see very often around here, at least.
Then Scott and I left the golf course before were were done and went to Brighton's game. However, we missed it. We arrive just as they finished the game.......so we couldn't watch Brighton play or Claire cheer........ Well, I guess we still have a good excuse to go back to Fairbanks again next year! We went back to the golf course and had lunch. (Just in time for award ceremony)

Look at Claire's split! Tucker cheered so loud at the game
with his mega phone.

Then we went to Jordan's game late afternoon. They didn't win, but it was so much fun to watch him play!

Jordan is a kicker this year - and did some AWESOME onside kickoffs!

Look how BIG some kids are on Jordan's team. My goodness!

Tucker told us that he is going to play football next year!  Now we gotta go back!

Oh, we had such a good time with them!!!!! I wish they lived closer... We miss them so much!

Oh, by the way, here are some photos of the house we stayed in Fairbanks. It is called "Red House", located up on the hills of Fairbanks. It has two bedrooms and one bathrooms, and it has concreate floor with heating system underneath the floor, so when it gets cold, the floor is automatically heated. It is kind of a small house, but I fell in love with this house. If the owner ever puts it up for sale, I am going to make an offer!!!!! (I wish...)

As you enter the house, you go up to go to
living room and kitchen.
